Minervina Helena B.

Russian

Helena B. Minervina was born in Minsk (Belarus). She was graduated from the Belarusian State University the faculty of mathematics in 1969 with honour. She has received Ph.D. degree in 1989. By now she is a leading research worker at the Institute of Engineering Cybernetics of the National Academy of  Sciences of Belarus. The main purpose of her investigations consists in the synthesis of efficient algorithms of FFT-type (Fourier, number-theoretic, polynomial) and discrete convolutions for digital processing of one-and two-dimensional signals. The proposed new algorithms were used for solving the problems of rapid digital filtering and restoration of signals and images and for investigation of self-organization models. She has published more than 56 articles, including the monograph "Fast algorithms and programs for digital spectral processing of signals and images" (with A.M.Krot).
