Education, employment

1989 – graduated from Uvarovichi high school ¹ 1 with a gold medal.
1994 – graduated with honor from Kharkov Military University as a radio engineer.
1997 – finished postgraduate course at Kharkov Military University.
1998 – defended PhD thesis in Engineering Sciences on specialty 20.02.14 («Arms and military equipment», research supervisor – major-general, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, professor Gennady Tkachyov).
1998 – was appointed to the position of lecturer assistant at the Department of tactics and arms of distant radiolocation systems.
1999 – retired from Armed forces of Ukraine.
2000 – has been employed at the Institute of Engineering Cybernetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (now the United Institute of Informatics Problems) to the position of researcher in the Laboratory of system engineering.
2002 – was appointed to the position of senior researcher in the Laboratory of system engineering.

Research interests
Applications of thematic processing the remote sensing data (mainly in the field of agriculture)

Current works

Remote monitoring systems of crops in the scale of separate farm. The work is performed jointly with the specialists of the Republican Unitary Enterprise «Research and Practical Center of the National academy of Sciences of Belarus for Agriculture» in the frame of the program of «Monitoring-SG» of Russian-Byelorussian Union State.

Remote monitoring systems of factors characterizing the fire danger of peat lands in Belarus. The work is performed jointly with the specialists of the State Scientific Institution «The Institute of experimental botany of V.F.Kuprevich of the National academy of sciences of Belarus» in the frame of State program of scientific research «Informatics, Space and Security».



The planned works

Belarusian part of the project «The development and certification of Multipurpose Global Monitoring Aerospace System (IGMASS) and creation on its basis the services of integrated representation of information on emergency situations of natural and anthropogenic characters along with semantic and geospatial data».

The organizations involved: From Russia – Joint Stock Company «Russian Space Systems» (project coordinator), from Kazakhstan – Joint Stock Company «National Center of Space Research and Technology», from Belarus –State Scientific Institution «The United Institute of Informatics Problems of the National academy of Sciences of Belarus». The project was approved in Belarus, in Innovative Skolkovo Foundation and in the Council of Heads of Governments of the Community of Independent States (CIS). The planned implementation terms: 2016 - 2019.

Membership and work in expert Councils

Was à member of Interagency Expert Council on the priority direction ¹ 5 of fundamental and applied scientific research «IT aviation and Space technologies and equipment».

At present is a member of Interagency Expert Council on the priority direction of scientific research «Scientific support of strengthening the defense potential and increasing the level of national security of Belarus» for 2011 - 2015 and in the priority direction of scientific research «Security of a person, society and state» for 2016 - 2020.

- the program of Belarusian-Russian Union State «The development and implementation of Space facilities and technologies for acquisition, processing and representation of Space information» («Cosmos-BR») 1999 - 2002;

- the program of Belarusian-Russian Union State «The development and implementation of perspective Space facilities and technologies in the interests of Union State technical prosperity (Cosmos-SG)» 2004 - 2007;

- the program of Belarusian-Russian Union State «The development of Space and ground based facilities to provide the users in Belarus and Russia with monitoring results» (Monitoring -SG») 2013 - 2017;

- state program of applied and scientific research «Development and justification of the system of measures to decrease the risks and mitigation of consequences of extreme situations of natural and anthropogenic character in Belarus» («Decreasing the risks of emergency situations») 2006 - 2010;

- state program of scientific research «Development of scientific bases, technologies and perspective tools for carrying out complex research of outer Space and use of Space information» («Space research») 2010 - 2012;

- state program of scientific research «Informatics and Space, scientific support of security and protection from extreme situations» 2013 - 2015;

- state program of scientific research «Informatics, Space and Security» 2016 - 2017.
