On November 3, 2025, a delegation from the Institute of Oceanographic Instrumentation of the Shandong Provincial Academy of Sciences (PRC), headed by Director Sun Jichan, visited the UIIP NAS of Belarus.

Representing the Belarusian side, the institute's developments were presented by Deputy Director for Research Sergey N. Kasanin, along with laboratory heads who participated in the discussion of cooperation prospects. During the visit, the institute's solutions in artificial intelligence, data processing, and Earth remote sensing were demonstrated.

The Chinese side presented its areas of activity and developments in oceanographic instrumentation and marine electronics, expressing interest in joint projects and the exchange of scientific expertise.

The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere and marked another step in the development of the Belarusian-Chinese scientific and technical partnership.
