- collection, storage and processing of remote sensing of the earth data based on the data technology (Data Cube), providing remote access to relevant multi-satellite weather remote sensing, their operational centralized processing
- complex monitoring and operational monitoring (using UAVs) of site natural and agricultural facilities, critical infrastructures for assessing their condition and identifying emergency situations
Results of scientific research and development

Within the framework of other scientific and technical projects, the department obtained results on the assessment of similarities, informativeness and the degree of uniqueness of images for the recognition and identification of objects of space imaging. Work has been carried out to create algorithms for processing multidimensional data in order to search for certain zones on space images of the Earth surface and aerial photographs
- High-performance software for improving the efficiency of seismic exploration in search of hydrocarbon deposits in Belarus
